Vele Manenje (born 11 March 1988) is a South African actress, television presenter and popularly known as Sonto in the SABC 1 series Single Galz.

Vele also appeared in plays such as How I Learned to Drive (also known as How I Learned to Drive), Black Bling, Grease and Little Shop of Horrors. Between 2015 and 2017, she played Mrs. “Batshweneng” on the SABC2 Drama Series Mamello.
She played Shandu in the Mzansi Magic Boxing Telenovela Ring of Lies from 2016 to Season 2. She hosted Mzansi Magic’s reality show Our Dream Wedding in Seasons 8 & 9 of 2018 and 2019
Early 2021 she joined the SABC1 soapie Skeem saam, where she played Evelyn. She is an articulate former schoolteacher who delivers a surprise at Charles (Masilo Magoro’s) store. She will debut on April 27th.
