In January 2013, she started playing Dintle (her maiden name was Setuke, but she changed it to Nyathi) on the e.tv soap opera Scandal!, which grew into a leading role.
Mapaseka played a small part in an episode of the comedy-drama miniseries Confessions to Moruti wa Tsotsi, which aired on Mzansi Magic on March 27, 2013. (Season 1, Episode 3).
She and Phila Madlingozi were guests on an episode of Khanyi Mbau’s eKasi+ talk show Katch It With Khanyi on November 7, 2014. (Season 2, Episode 17).
At the second Royalty Soapie Awards in 2015, she won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role as Dintle on Scandal!
