Siyabonga Thwala (born 17 March 1969 in Umlamzi) is a South African TV and stage actor, TV host, director, and businessman. The actor has become well-known in the entertainment industry because he is so good at what he does. His performance in the soap opera Scandal! earned him the nickname “Ruthless Publisher.”

Siyabonga debuted in Born Free: A New Adventure in 1996. In the same year, he appeared in “Tarzan and the Scarlet Diamond” (Season 1, Episode 5).
In 1998, he turned down the part of Godlieb Mofokeng in the new SABC3 soapie Isidingo because he wasn’t ready for a long-term commitment to television. Rapulana Seiphemo took the role.
As a compromise, Thwala played J, a former liberation-struggle cadre, for a short while.
On SABC1’s Gaz’lam, he played Jimmy for six episodes in 2003. In SABC1’s Soul City, he played Dali.
He won a Vita for his roles in Burning Blue, Janice Honeyman’s Turkish Delight, Aladdin, and Blues Brothers.
He played newspaper editor Vusi Zwane in e.tv’s new soap Scandal! in 2005. His character was killed in May 2007 after he left the show in February 2007.

As Kenneth Mashaba’s brother Paul, he debuted in Generations in August 2007. Until 2010, he played it.
He plays Mpiyakhe Zungu, a powerful taxi boss and political leader, in Mzansi Magic’s isiBaya. In March 2014, he won the Royalty Soapie Awards’ inaugural Outstanding Lead Actor award for this role.
In June 2013, he played Busani Mojalefa on SABC2’s Muvhango.
In late 2013, he joined the e.tv soap opera Rhythm City as DH Radebe, a tall, dark, and gorgeous entrepreneur who seduces Lucilla and Gail and tramples David Genaro’s area. His debut was Tuesday, December 10.
